18-Year-Old Nima Rinji Sherpa Becomes the Youngest Person to Climb Mt. Kanchenjunga
At just 18 years old, Nima Rinji Sherpa has made history by becoming the youngest person to summit Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. Nima reached the summit, which stands at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet), on June 8, 2024, at 9:30 am. This remarkable achievement adds to his impressive record of summiting 13 of the world's highest peaks, leaving only Mt. Shishapangma for him to complete all 14 eight-thousanders as a teenager.

Previous Achievements
